I am a sedimentary geologist interested in understanding how lakes and wetlands evolve over time. I study how saltmarsh, wetland, and lake sediments record the interplay of water level changes, tectonic events, flooding, and anthropogenic influences.

I am currently an Assistant Professor of Earth Science at Worcester State University, Massachusetts where I teach courses on limnology, geology, and coastal processes and mentor undergraduate students in local research projects.
